Books With a Purpose

We accept both new and gently used books based on the needs of our programs.

Rather than collecting books at random, we carefully select books that we believe can help students learn how to learn.
Every book we receive is chosen with purpose and connected to a meaningful learning opportunity.
 

We Don't Just Give Students Books.

We help them discover what they can do with a book.

More importantly, we give students an opportunity to learn how to use books effectively.

Through reading, questioning, reflecting, and practicing, students learn to turn a book into a tool for independent learning.

A book is not simply something to finish.
It can become a place to find questions, explore ideas, and develop the ability to think for yourself.
